About Our Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Christchurch Company
Smartweld was established as a manufacturing engineering company in 2006 by Les & Kathy Mitchell of Christchurch. Les background includes two trades, boiler maker and fitter/turner 25 years’ experience. Kathy’s background is in IT.
Based in Christchurch, we are a friendly customer focused company and always happy to help. Les and the team can design and fabricate to your requirements.
Smartweld Ltd has also branched out beyond mechanical engineering services and now is able to manufacture and supply springs to the garage door industry. We are able to calculate the springs required dependent on the door dimensions and weight.
